Summary: We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (IC5) to join a high-performing platform team within a leading global social media company. This remote role focuses on delivering enterprise-grade identity, access management, security, and platform reliability solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical program management experience and strong communication skills to engage with cross-functional stakeholders. The position offers a 12-month contract with a potential extension and a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the delivery of complex technical programs focused on enterprise identity & access management, threat intelligence and security, and platform system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams across the UK and US.
  • Own the end-to-end program lifecycle, from initiation to completion and retrospectives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and escalations proactively.
  • Prepare and present status updates and reports to leadership.
  • Coordinate resources and manage project scope and timelines.
  • Support strategy alignment and ensure platform decisions meet evolving product requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in program management, ideally in identity, security, or system reliability.
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Google Suite, and other project management software.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Industry experience in banking, fintech, or large-scale technology companies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with platform ecosystems.
