Requirement
Job Title: Technical Product Owner, Data & AI
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Remote
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years as a technical product owner, technical program manager, or delivery lead for data platform, BI, or analytics teams
- Demonstrated ownership of release processes in change-controlled or SOX-regulated environments
- Azure DevOps fluency: backlog craft, sprint mechanics, dashboards, and queries
- Experience directing vendor and offshore delivery against statements of work, including acceptance and quality holds
- Stakeholder management at the director and VP level, with evidence of turning frustrated business partners into sponsors
- Strong written communication: SOPs, executive status, and audit-facing documentation
- Enough technical depth to interrogate data engineers honestly: SQL literacy, understanding of ETL/ELT, environments, and deployment pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Fabric or Power BI platform delivery experience
- Financial reporting domain exposure (month-end close, GL, budget/forecast data)
- Experience introducing intake or change management process to a team that had none
- CSPO, PMP, or SAFe certification
