Technical PMO (Outside IR35 Contract)

We're looking for an experienced Technical PMO to work closely with my client's CTO, acting as a trusted right-hand person to help drive technology initiatives, improve visibility across the IT function, and ensure key projects are delivered successfully.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for coordinating multiple workstreams, engaging with stakeholders across the business, and providing the CTO with confidence that priorities are being effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary support to the CTO, providing oversight across technology programmes and initiatives.
- Attend leadership meetings, capture actions, and ensure deliverables are completed.
- Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones across multiple technology workstreams.
- Produce clear and concise reporting for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Work with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure effective communication and delivery.
- Support the delivery of strategic technology projects, including AI, cloud, cyber security, CRM, and business systems initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and procurement functions.
- Help establish governance, improve delivery processes, and ensure projects remain on track.
- Provide visibility and challenge where required to ensure successful outcomes.
Skills & Experience: We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience working within a Technical PMO, Technology Programme Management, or CTO Office environment.
- Experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally a CTO or CIO.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong experience delivering internal technology transformation projects.
- Good understanding of Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure.
- Exposure to AI-focused initiatives and digital transformation programmes.
- Experience working on cyber security projects.
- Knowledge of CRM and financial systems implementations or upgrades.
- Experience working with suppliers, procurement teams, and third-party vendors.
- Exposure to enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake or other data lake technologies would be beneficial.
- Previous experience within the recruitment, staffing, or professional services sector would be advantageous
