Summary: The Technical Lead (.NET/Full Stack) role involves providing technical leadership for a public-facing digital service transitioning from Private Beta to Public Beta. The position requires hands-on development across the full stack while ensuring compliance with GOV.UK standards. The successful candidate will mentor a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the overall architecture and engineering practices. This is a fully remote position with a contract lasting until March 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery of a public-facing digital service through Beta
- Provide hands-on development across the full stack

- Mentor developers and drive engineering best practice
- Work closely with Product, Delivery and Design colleagues
- Deliver secure, accessible cloud-hosted digital services

We are supporting a consultancy partner delivering a public-facing digital service as it progresses from Private Beta into Public Beta.
We're looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to provide technical leadership whilst remaining actively involved in development. You'll play a key role in guiding a multidisciplinary team through Beta, ensuring delivery aligns with the GOV.UK Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice.
