Summary: The Technical Lead role is a hands-on leadership position within a dynamic technology consultancy, requiring expertise in full-stack applications and cloud infrastructure. The position is remote with occasional client visits and is offered on a contract basis for 3 to 6 months. The ideal candidate will lead technical discussions and ensure best practices while mentoring others in the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discussions and ensure best practices in full-stack application development.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure using Azure and ARM templates.
  • Mentor team members and assist in estimating work and project sizing.
  • Articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in full-stack applications, including React, Node.js, TypeScript, and .Net.
  • Experience with Azure and ARM templates, including development and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of BDD, TDD, and SOLID principles.
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented programming, enterprise integration, and microservice architecture.
  • Ability to estimate work and guide others in project sizing.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Salary (Rate): £450pd

Our client, an established and successful Consultancy are looking for a Technical Lead to join them on a contract basis.

With head offices in the north of the UK and branches spreading across the globe, they're a dynamic technology consultancy leader with a dedicated team of professionals, partnering with sector leaders

This will very much be a hands-on leadership role, they are wanting someone who can lead by example and lead on technical discussions to ensure best practices

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrable and proven experience in full-stack applications (inc. working knowledge of a range of technologies such as React, Node.js and TypeScript and .Net).
  • Experience with Azure and ARM templates including dev and deployment of supporting cloud infrastructure (inc. pipelines).
  • Excellent, in-depth understanding of BDD, TDD and SOLID principles.
  • In-depth experience in rock-solid Object-Oriented programming, enterprise integration skills and microservice architecture skills
  • Experienced enough to be able to size up / estimate work and help others to do the same
  • Ability to articulate to non-technical people, technical concepts in a way they understand
