Summary: We are seeking a talented Technical Instructional Designer to join a collaborative team focused on developing e-learning courses and technical training materials for critical support areas. The role involves working with Integrated Learning Program Managers and subject matter experts to create impactful learning solutions using advanced technologies. This position offers the opportunity to engage in scalable learning solutions that uphold operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and maintain interactive e-learning courseware using authoring tools and microlearning methodologies, including videos, quizzes, and simulations.
- Collaborate closely with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex operational processes into clear, performance-based learning outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive target audience analyses, including needs assessment, learner, context, and task analyses.
- Create comprehensive supporting materials such as slidedecks, handouts, lab instructions, and practical lab solutions for technical programs.
Key Skills:
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in instructional design, technical communication, and performance-based program development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with instructional design framework requirements (needs assessment, learner, context, and task analyses).
- Minimum 3 years of extensive hands-on experience utilizing Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe PremierPro for video editing).
- Proven experience managing projects and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional technical teams.
- Prior instructional design experience supporting data center environments or related highly technical operations (preferred).
- Familiarity or working experience integrating AI learning solutions, generative AI tools, and 3-D modeling into courseware (preferred).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Technical Communications, or a related field (preferred).
