Summary: Gigged.AI is seeking a Technical Data Business Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to support the integration of acquired companies' data into standard reporting frameworks. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, analyzing data, and developing Power BI reports. This position is remote and classified as inside IR35. The initial contract duration is 3 months with an ASAP start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with subject matter experts from acquired companies to understand source systems (primarily SQL Server).
- Analyse and map source data to our KPI and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineers on data ingestion and transformation processes.
- Design and develop Power BI reports adhering to our standard reporting formats (approx. 4 reports per company).
- Conduct testing and refinement with stakeholders to ensure reports meet business needs.
- Support multiple streams of data integration as the project progresses.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX calculations, and report design.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and relational database structures.
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and map them to KPI frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Previous experience supporting data integration projects or mergers/acquisitions is highly desirable.
