Summary: The Technical Consultant role is a 12-month contract focused on delivering high-quality consultancy services and software implementation for clients in the UK. The consultant will analyze technical requirements, design integrated solutions, and ensure project delivery aligns with business processes and governance standards. This position requires effective communication with customers and collaboration with project managers to support business change through technology. The role also involves maintaining expert knowledge of products and identifying commercial opportunities to meet revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality Technical consultancy services to customers achieving operational outcomes and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Implementation of software in line with the contract and statement of work.
- Analyse and understand non-functional technical requirements ensuring that all products and services meet these requirements and are supportable.
- Deliver solutions and integrations as per agreed designs on time and on budget.
- On delivery ensure that solutions integrate all parts of the business model including processes, operating systems and application architectures.
- To communicate fully with customers regarding requirements and specifications.
- Supporting the customer through business change using technology and process improvements.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of a project and highlighting any risks or issues that may impact this.
- Always maintain a high level of governance; ensuring that activity reports and stage gates task lists are completed within the SLA.
- Maintain knowledge of company products, product releases, services, methodologies, policies, procedures and customers.
- Consistently deliver expert knowledge of WorkWave products and services.
- Identify additional commercial opportunities and communicate to the appropriate level.
- Accountability for your individual revenue and utilisation target and ensuring that these are met in line with the business plan.
- Promote a positive image of WorkWave at all times and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and personal appearance at all times.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- To undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably delegated by your Manager in light of skill set and capabilities in order to maximise the company’s goals and objectives.
- Identify, seek clarification and comply with those legislative requirements and parts of the published security policies that are applicable to the role and activities.
- Regularly review security policies for changes that affect the role and activities.
- Secure data, passwords, documents, physical areas and property that you own, manage or have access to.
- Report observed potential and actual security breaches.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology.
- Familiarity and experience with multiple different software programs including but not limited to SQL, APIs, Postman, Microsoft Stack.
- 1-3 years of prior experience in IT technical consulting.
