Key Responsibilities:

Detailed Description From Employer:

We are currently partnering with a Higher Education provider that is looking for a Technical Consultant (with particular expertise around Timetabling) to join them on an initial 5-month contract to support with the implementation of a new timetabling system.

Essential skills include:

  • Strong understanding of timetabling terminology, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to confidently act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated technical and functional expertise
  • Proven ability to identify data inaccuracies and propose effective corrective solutions.
  • Experience supporting data integrations between university systems (e.g., Student Records, HR, Finance, CRM, Timetabling).
  • Understanding of APIs, web services, and common data formats.
  • Proficiency in SQL or equivalent tools for data validation and interrogation.

Contract details:

  • Start date: ASAP (can wait until 5th January for the perfect candidate)
  • End date: April (initially)
  • Day rate: £500-550 (IR35 pending but likely to be outside)
  • Location: Remote
