Technical Consultant / DITA Architect

Summary: The Technical Consultant / DITA Architect role requires a candidate with 5-7 years of experience in designing and implementing DITA-based content management solutions. The position involves exploring client needs, designing proof-of-concept solutions, and implementing scalable production solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Explore and document client needs for DITA/XML based content management and authoring solutions
• Research and present possible solutions to the client, explaining the benefits and considerations of options
• Design and build proof-of-concept solutions and demonstrate the features and functionality of potential solutions
• Design and implement a scaling production solution

Key Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience in XML and preferably in structured documentation
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong verbal and writing communication skills
• Experience in XML technologies, such as OxygenXML, Xpath, XSLT, XSD, Xquery, XProc
• Strong knowledge of DITA
• Experience with XML authoring tools and CCMS technologies (especially DITA compatible), as well as publishing technologies and portals
