Summary: The role of Remote Technical Consultant - Copilot involves deploying and configuring Microsoft 365 Copilot across various applications, ensuring compliance and user readiness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure Copilot across Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Ensure licensing, data readiness, and user eligibility for Copilot activation.
  • Customize Copilot behavior using prompt engineering and semantic indexing.
  • Manage Copilot usage policies, privacy controls, and compliance boundaries.
  • Monitor Copilot adoption, usage patterns, and productivity impact.
  • Design and deploy custom Copilot agents using Copilot Studio.
  • Monitor agent performance, usage analytics, and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with business units to translate needs into agent functionality.
  • Maintain documentation and version control for all deployed agents.
  • Ensure Copilot Studio agents comply with security and regulatory standards.
  • Build dashboards using Power BI to track Copilot usage, adoption, and ROI.
  • Leverage Microsoft 365 Admin Center for readiness reports and service health.
  • Use Viva Insights and the Copilot Dashboard for productivity metrics and behavioral trends.
  • Monitor audit logs via Microsoft Purview for prompt activity and risk detection.
  • Analyze Power Platform metrics for agent consumption and flow performance.
  • Create executive-level reports summarizing Copilot impact across departments.
  • Automate reporting workflows using Power Automate and Graph API.
  • Define governance frameworks for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange mailbox policies.
  • Establish naming conventions, lifecycle rules, and provisioning standards.
  • Act as a technical liaison between IT, business units, and executive leadership.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and adoption campaigns for end users.
  • Optimize licensing, storage, and resource utilization.
  • Monitor service health, performance, and user experience across M365 workloads.

Key Skills:
