Summary: The Technical Business Analyst role focuses on supporting a fibre broadband provider by delivering system and process improvements across OSS/BSS and customer-facing platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business and technical requirements across OSS/BSS systems
- Map current and future-state processes to identify efficiency and optimisation opportunities
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with developers, architects, and vendors to support system implementation and integration
- Support end-to-end delivery across projects including design, testing, and deployment phases
- Collaborate with stakeholders across network, operations, and customer systems teams
- Define and document data flows, system interactions, and integration points
- Contribute to project planning, risk identification, and delivery tracking
- Support testing activities including UAT and validation of implemented solutions
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements (eg GDPR, Ofcom)
Key Skills:
- 3-5+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Strong experience in process mapping (BPM/BPR) and producing detailed documentation
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
- Experience working with enterprise systems, integrations, and APIs
- Experience working closely with development teams in Agile environments
- Strong stakeholder management across both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience supporting system implementation, testing, and delivery lifecycles
- Exposure to telecommunications/broadband environments (OSS/BSS systems)
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Knowledge of integration platforms such as MuleSoft
- Understanding of API-led architecture and data flows
- Awareness of regulatory environments (GDPR, Ofcom)
- Experience with SQL for data analysis or validation is beneficial
