Technical Business Analyst

Summary: The Technical Business Analyst will support a cloud development team focused on backend solutions, primarily utilizing AWS and Python. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to create user stories while collaborating with various teams. The position is fully remote with occasional travel to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Candidates should have extensive experience in business analysis and a solid understanding of cloud technologies, although prior cloud development experience is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Staying up to date on IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conducting meetings and demos.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
• Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on tech needs and requirements.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Key Skills:

• 8+ years U.S. based work experience.
• Mobile Development (iOS/Android) experience.
• Good eCommerce enterprise-level experience.
• Must be able to read Unix logs.
• Backend experience with API Testing, knowledge and use of Postman and/or Swagger.
• Ability to work with back-end teams with Java.
• Backend API as well as BA and User story creation.
• Front-End UI/UX user story experience.
• Responsive Design application experience as a BA.
• Agile Methodology.
• REST Web Services.
• Story Mapping Analysis.
• Acceptance Criteria Definition.
• Release Notes.
• Basic SQL and Cloud AWS.
• Data analysis tools: Postgres SQL, DynamoDB, MySQL queries.
• Application logs / AWS CloudWatch.
