Summary: A contract opportunity is available for a Technical Business Analyst specializing in Cyber Security, focusing on gathering and managing technical and security requirements across various projects. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support concurrent security initiatives. This position is remote and initially contracted until the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, define, and document detailed technical and security requirements for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop clear, auditable, and testable requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with architects and solution designers on system integration and technical design requirements.
- Engage across Cyber Security, IT, and Operational teams to ensure aligned delivery.
- Work with QA teams to maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Maintain consistent requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Model and document both current and target-state technical/business processes.
- Manage multiple workstreams and adjust to shifting priorities across projects.
- Conduct in-depth analysis including SWOT assessments, vendor evaluations, and technology comparisons.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across technical and business units.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst on Cyber Security or IT Security-related projects.
- Solid understanding of core Cyber Security principles, tools, and domains.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skilled in documenting and managing complex technical/business requirements.
- Experience working closely with solution designers, architects, and QA teams.
