Summary: The Technical Assurance Lead role involves overseeing and enhancing the Information Security technical assurance program within a remote setting. The position requires immediate availability for a 6-month contract and focuses on ensuring the effectiveness of security controls and compliance with various information security standards. The candidate will also be responsible for documenting testing outcomes and collaborating with stakeholders on security policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and enhancing the Information Security technical assurance program.
- Testing and verifying the effectiveness of security controls and mitigating threats.
- Document outcomes of testing and assurance activity and discuss findings with key stakeholders.
- Undertake threat intelligence and data leakage.
- Reviewing, writing and updating the organisation's policies, standards and procedures.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of web applications, infrastructure, OS and Cloud.
- Extensive experience with Information Security Standards eg ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, CIS20, FFIEC and NIST Standards.
- Knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including alternative frameworks.
