Technical Assurance Lead

Summary: The Technical Assurance Lead role involves operating and enhancing the Information Security technical assurance program, with a focus on testing security controls and documenting findings. The position requires extensive knowledge of information security standards and frameworks, and it is a remote role for a 6-month contract with an immediate start. The role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and enhancing the Information Security technical assurance program.
• Testing and verifying the effectiveness of security controls and mitigating threats.
• Document outcomes of testing and assurance activity and discuss findings with key stakeholders.
• Undertake threat intelligence and data leakage.
• Reviewing, writing and updating the organisation's policies, standards and procedures.

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of web applications, infrastructure, OS and Cloud.
• Extensive experience with Information Security Standards e.g. ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, CIS20, FFIEC and NIST Standards.
• Knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including alternative frameworks.

Salary (Rate): £650 daily
