Summary: The Technical Architect role involves collaborating with various architects within HMRC to ensure comprehensive architectural viewpoints are integrated into design processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the IT Strategy and enterprise architecture, working closely with the lead Enterprise Architect.
- Translate enterprise architecture and strategy into prioritised and sequenced deliverable solution designs.
- Ensure coherent and strategic design is undertaken by solution architects responsible for individual component capabilities.
- Lead design discussions and own architectural decisions involving multiple architects and domains.
- Govern high- and low-level designs with full lifecycle management.
- Communicate effectively with business partners.
- Articulate technical viewpoints to technical and non-technical colleagues, senior management, and business partners.
- Oversee enterprise and software architecture, including data, application, technology, and security.
