What you'll be working towards
We're seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a major data-driven transformation programme within a large, complex UK organisation delivering essential public services. This is a high-impact initiative operating in a regulated, operationally critical environment, from discovery through to delivery with strong potential for extension.
You'll play a key role in shaping and evolving a trusted, scalable data platform that underpins operational decision-making and service delivery. Working alongside engineering, product, and operational teams, you'll help improve data quality, integration, and accessibility, ensuring data services are robust, reusable, and aligned with long-term organisational and regulatory needs.
About You:
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade data architectures in complex or regulated environments
- Strong understanding of how operational systems, data platforms, analytics, and downstream consumers interact
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including data engineers, platform teams, and senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex data landscapes into clear, pragmatic architectures, models, and standards
- Strong grounding in data quality, governance, integration patterns, and platform design
