Summary: The role of Tech Architect/Infrastructure Architect involves collaborating closely with a Solutions Architect to transition infrastructure to cloud solutions. The position requires a strong understanding of various technical disciplines, including cloud services and application development methodologies. This is a 6-month contract role that operates under inside IR35 regulations. The position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Solutions Architect to interpret design.
- Develop an architecture vision and delivery plan for architecture components.
- Apply agile methodologies and support governance, process, and culture.
- Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
- Understand and respond to the enterprise's political climate.
- Comprehend functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Key Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in IT or related discipline.
- Experience with cloud services (Infrastructure, Platform, Software as a Service) and Azure.
- Knowledge of Intune Service, Entra ID, application development, DevOps, CI/CD, and hybrid network design.
- Strong understanding of network and data centre architecture.
- Ability to develop architecture components at the right scope and time.
- Understanding of APIs, web services, microservices, and modern cloud-native application architectures.
- Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and lean development.

Looking for a Tech Architect/Infrastructure Architect, experience of infrastructure to moving to cloud would be ideal. Will be closely working with Solutions Architect to interpret design.

Essential Functional/Technical Skills
. Ideally an undergraduate degree in IT or a related discipline
. Experience in applying agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture
. Ability to develop an Architecture vision, intent and runway to delivery the right architecture components, at the right scope, at the right time
. Knowledge of the following technical disciplines:
1. Cloud Services covering Infrastructure, Platform and Software ( ..as a service) I Azure.
2. Intune Service, including packaging and application lifecycle
3. Entra ID Usage and Insights reporting, Groups and Memberships.
4. Application development, DevOps, CI/CD
5. Hybrid Network design
6. Middleware
7. Servers and storage
8. Database management
6. Operations
. Experience in applying agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture
. A strong understanding of the business needs that drive the team's activities
. An understanding of the team's area(s) of responsibility
. Knowledge of key aspects of the business
. Understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to respond to the political challenges
. Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements
. Strong understanding of network and data centre architecture, as well as application development methodologies
. Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
. Understanding of APIs, Web services, Microservices, Serverless compute and other Modern cloud native application architectures
. High level knowledge of development processes, including but not limited to DevOps, Scrum, Kanban and lean development
