Summary: The Teamcenter Technical Architect Installation Expert is responsible for leading the installation and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM software across various environments. This role involves designing and implementing Teamcenter architecture while ensuring integration with infrastructure and troubleshooting deployment issues. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers and documenting procedures for knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM software across various environments (Development, QA, Production).
  • Design and implement Teamcenter architecture, considering scalability, performance, and security.
  • Perform Teamcenter upgrades, patch installations, and configuration changes.
  • Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure proper integration with operating systems, databases, and network.
  • Troubleshoot installation and system-level issues related to Teamcenter deployment.
  • Document installation and configuration procedures, and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Teamcenter architecture and installation.
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter installation (Enterprise and Active Workspace).
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter components (TCCS, TC Server, Web-tier, BMIDE).
  • Experience with Teamcenter integrations (NX, CAD, ERP, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Perl, or Python) for automation.
  • Experience with Oracle/MS SQL databases, Linux/Windows servers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
