Summary: Offsoar is seeking a Sr. Talend Data Engineer to provide expert data architecting services for data warehouse systems, including Master Data Management and business intelligence databases. The role requires a strong background in Talend Open Studio and extensive experience in data analytics and modeling. This position is remote, and only U.S. citizens are eligible to apply. The candidate will be responsible for documenting system requirements and changes while driving rapid prototyping for new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert data architecting services for data warehouse systems.
- Document system requirements and changes related to IT projects.
- Establish standards and guidelines for data warehouse design, development, and maintenance.
- Drive rapid prototyping and design for new projects.
- Collect business requirements from customers and transform them into database processes and data schema.
Key Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience with Talend Open Studio.
- Extensive experience in data warehouse design and development.
- Experience with Master Data Management implementation.
- Proficiency in Data Profiling and Data Remediation.
- Expertise in Oracle or MySQL databases and data modeling.
- Experience in multidimensional data modeling.
- Knowledge of Snowflake or relational SQL databases.
- Solid understanding of project management and SDLC methodologies.

Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience with Talend Open Studio in a directly related area, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
- Extensive experience in establishing standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of Data Warehouse information, advanced data analytics and text mining models
- Nice to have if proven implementation performed for Master Data Management.
- Experience with Data Profiling and Data Remediation, SSOT (Single source of truth) a must.
- Proven track record to drive rapid prototyping and design for new projects.
- Experience in strategy roadmap for enterprise data, implementation and data management for new data sources, publicly available data and advanced Data Analytics systems.
- Extensive expertise in Oracle or mysql database, as well as data modeling, both logical and physical.
- Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, normalized and de-normalized models, handling slow-changing dimensions/attributes.
- Extensive experience providing practical direction on information and analytics platforms in conjunction with EDW tools and technologies.
- Experience using with project management and SDLC methodologies with solid understanding of key BI trends.
- Solid experience with Data Warehouse; extensive experience for collecting business requirements from customers and transform the requirements into DB data processes and data schema.
- Knowledge of Snowflake or any of relational SQL databases and SQL in at least one of the following environments: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
