Summary: The role is for a Tableau Developer with extensive experience in data visualization, data warehousing, and Oracle PL/SQL, specifically for a remote position supporting the Texas Workforce Commission. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, designing reports and dashboards, and mentoring junior developers. Additionally, the role involves performing systems analyst work within the IT PMO team, overseeing multiple projects and enhancing system capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from various source systems and database technologies using SQL.
- Design, develop, and validate reports, data visualizations, and dashboards using Tableau.
- Build and publish customized interactive reports and dashboards.
- Schedule reporting using Tableau server and create action filters, parameters, and calculated sets.
- Develop Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending.
- Gather, analyze, and generate data visualization requirements for a data warehouse.
- Work on a data warehouse team and translate requirements into data visualization needs.
- Mentor and train junior Tableau developers.
- Perform systems analyst work, oversee projects, and enhance system capabilities.
- Communicate with users to determine requirements for new processes and applications.
- Participate in implementations and upgrades in a low code platform.
- Document business processes and prepare project documentation.
- Develop test artifacts and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Track defects and resolutions in collaboration with developers.
- Assist in diagnosing application problems and writing specifications for improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis from various sources.

Scope/Description of Services
The Worker(s) will provide the following services: To perform Systems Analyst work as a member of the IT PMO team, overseeing one or more projects concurrently. Complete evaluations of existing and future capabilities, conduct research into solution alternatives, enhance system capabilities, and providing advice to stakeholders. Participate in joint application design sessions with customers and Information Technology (IT) staff to define business requirements and develop software systems requirements. Communicate effectively with users to determine requirements of new processes and applications or modifications to existing processes and applications. Be actively involved in implementations and upgrades in a low code platform. Perform system configuration, document business processes and prepare project documentation with a high level of attention to detail, strong organization skills and technical aptitude. Use standardized project management processes, tools and techniques to address project needs. Develop test artifacts, conduct testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop training documentation for various team projects. Work closely with developers to track defects and resolutions. Perform deep technical and analytical reviews to analyze system functionality with customer and resolve production issues. Assist with creating, maintaining and enforcing global standards. Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support team projects. Assist in the diagnosis of problems associated with applications and writes detailed specifications for developing or correcting issues to improve system performance and/or accuracy.
