Summary: The role of Tableau Developer at OTSI involves creating Tableau Cloud dashboards to analyze data and provide business insights for cross-functional teams. The position requires strong experience in dashboard building, knowledge of marketing and sales KPIs, and proficiency in Tableau Cloud and related technologies. The developer will also be responsible for deriving actionable insights from complex data and automating processes to support stakeholder requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Tableau Cloud dashboards by analyzing data and deliver business insights for cross-functional team leaders.
  • Derive actionable insights from complex data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Create tools, processes, mechanisms, and automation that reduce the burden on our data stack as well as meeting requirements from stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • 2yrs+ Tableau Cloud experience.
  • 6yrs+ Dashboard building on Tableau.
  • 3yrs+ Marketing/Sales KPIs knowledge.
  • 3yrs+ SalesForce knowledge for Marketing modules.
  • 1yr+ experience with creating Tableau Cloud extensions.
  • HTML, JavaScript, Tableau APIs experiences.
  • Strong experience with DBT/Snowflake.
  • Financial KPIs knowledge is preferred.
  • Must be a US person, living in the US.
  • Living in the SF Bay Area is a plus.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills.
  • BS in Computer Science, emphasis in Data Engineering preferred.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as contribute to cross-functional and global teams.
  • Positive attitude: takes ownership and initiative to fix problems and move on quickly.
