Tableau Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Develop KPIs, scorecards, and operational performance dashboards.
• Integrate and validate data from enterprise systems and relational databases.
• Write SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Optimize dashboard performance, data quality, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot reporting and visualization issues and support ongoing enhancements.
• Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports in an enterprise environment.
• Strong proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling, data validation, and integrating multiple data sources.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, KPI development, and BI reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government, public sector, or other regulated environments.
• Experience supporting workflow analysis, process improvement, and operational reporting.
