Summary: The Tableau Developer/Admin role involves supporting the Business Intelligence team through dashboard development, administration, and data visualization initiatives. The position requires collaboration with business partners to deliver high-quality BI solutions while ensuring compliance with governance practices. The candidate will also provide mentoring on Tableau best practices and support user interface development. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build Tableau dashboards following best practices in visualization and user experience.
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and deliver high-quality BI solutions.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and data workflows using Alteryx or similar tools.
  • Administer Tableau sites (DEV, UAT, PROD), ensuring performance, organization, security, and compliance with standards.
  • Implement BI governance practices for data usage, quality, privacy, and security.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance on Tableau best practices.
  • Support user interface development and testing with Semarchy (MDM).

Key Skills:

  • 4+ years of SQL development with complex queries.
  • 4+ years of Tableau development experience.
  • 6+ years of dashboard development with large/complex datasets.
  • 4+ years of Tableau Server administration.
  • 4+ years with Alteryx or similar ETL tools.
  • 4+ years of experience with data warehouses and BI governance.
  • 2+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
