Summary: The Tableau & Alteryx Administrator role involves supporting and maintaining enterprise analytics platforms, specifically Tableau Server and Alteryx Server, in a production environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Tableau Server and Alteryx Server environments across development, testing, and production platforms.
  • Perform platform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage security configurations, authentication integrations, certificates, and user access controls.
  • Support identity and authentication providers including SAML, Active Directory, and related technologies.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Troubleshoot platform, server, dashboard, and workflow performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
  • Support API integrations and platform automation initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Tableau & Alteryx Administrator to support and maintain enterprise analytics platforms in a highly visible production environment. This is a hands-on administration and support role responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of Tableau Server and Alteryx Server environments.

This position requires a strong technical foundation in server administration, authentication, automation, troubleshooting, and platform support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a production support environment and be comfortable participating in after-hours and on-call support rotations.
