Systems Test Engineer/Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system-level test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as Jira or similar.
• Work closely with development, product, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Perform API, interface, hardware/software integration, and system testing as applicable.
• Support test automation and improve overall test coverage.
• Analyze test results and prepare test reports and documentation.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and release validation.
• Ensure systems meet defined functional, performance, reliability, and quality requirements.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Software/System Testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Ability to create detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of SDLC, defect management, and test methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of API testing, SQL, and scripting/programming.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
