Summary: The Systems Analyst 3 role involves extensive knowledge and experience in various technical and functional areas, particularly related to Texas state government policies and federal labor laws. The position requires a strong background in system configuration, security best practices, and public sector experience, with a focus on supporting the CAPPS HR/PY tower in PeopleSoft HCM. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system configuration changes and support functional responsibilities.
- Provide oversight with batch jobs and manage the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Support the CAPPS HR/PY tower in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and manage incidents in coordination with Major Incident Management (MIM).
- Prepare and present executive-level presentations and gather data for audits and open records requests.
- Provide Tier 2 Service Desk Support for a large network of agencies.
- Plan and coordinate the Fiscal Year Process at a statewide level.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and NIST standards.
- Integrate contractual language into daily workflows and hold vendors accountable.
- Assist with payroll support and quarterly reconciliations for multiple agencies.

8 Years - Experience in planning and coordinating the Fiscal Year Process at a statewide level
8 Years - Extensive knowledge and experience managing the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
