Summary: The Systems Administrator role is a remote position focused on managing Dell storage and Xtreme IO products, with responsibilities including migration work and administration of VMware ESX/i environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, review, and manage Dell infrastructure.
- Manage user requests and log files.
- Generate regular operational reports.
- Perform software/firmware management assistance and collaboration.
- Implement change management requests and assist with solution documentation.
- Manage migration activities and oversee critical host-based migrations.
- Isolate and troubleshoot incidents, performing service incident coordination.
- Open service requests on behalf of the customer and participate in root cause analysis review.
- Recommend procedure changes for operational optimization and share best practices.
- Review IT processes and policies for continuous improvement and conduct knowledge transfer.
- Analyze existing system configurations.
