System Administrator

Summary: The System Administrator role at a forward-thinking university involves implementing and configuring the Banner student information system to enhance the student lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure the Banner student information system to meet business requirements.
• Focus on business workflow, experience cards, and report writing in Banner.
• Report to the Development and Testing Manager and ensure system operation aligns with SaaS safe development practices.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and interpret design workflows into functional processes.
• Manage and resolve issues arising from testing to meet expected requirements and specifications.
• Plan workload, report progress, and manage risks and dependencies using the RAID log.
• Prepare products for User Acceptance Testing and ensure quality controls are applied correctly.
• Document all work according to agreed standards for understanding among system administrators.
