Summary: The role of Technology Consultant/Analyst/System Admin involves providing specialized support in system administration, particularly focusing on storage systems and backup management. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring components of storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disk, and logs.
- Responsible for complete incident, change management, problem management, and capacity planning.
- Planning and executing disaster recovery.
- Backup management and health checks, monitoring backup jobs, schedules, and relevant logs.
- Conducting storage health checkups.
- Performance monitoring of storage arrays through console.
- Controller mirroring configuration status from console.
- Troubleshooting storage-related issues.
Key Skills:
- System Administration experience with key skills in storage technologies such as Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch.
- Backup technologies including EMC Data Domain, Networker, ECS.
- Operating systems experience with VMWare and Linux/RedHat.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
