Requirements & essential skills Required:
- Experience in a sustainability, policy, or compliance role.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco design policy, waste shipment, materials, ESG and the circular economy.
- Interest in or experience of the policy making process or working within a policy making environment.
- Experience of delivering a compliance project and/or achieving policy change.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a significant sustainability or environmental policy focus (eg Geography, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Environmental and Business, Environmental Law or equivalent.)
- Passion for sustainability and drive to make a positive difference.
- Enthusiasm, ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Knowledge and experience of understanding environmental policy requirements.
- Ability to understand compliance requirements and develop solutions.
- Strong quality orientation.
- Rigor and attention to details.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to keep track of tasks and ensure completion on time.
