Summary: The role involves an English-speaking SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing consultant acting as a Product Owner for a remote project. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to understand and revise the client's capability roadmap across supply chain, manufacturing, and digital insights. This position requires a strategic approach to integrate various systems under the Digital Manufacturing initiative. The consultant must possess strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to think critically beyond given instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a high/mid-level understanding of the current capability roadmap being developed by the client, supported by our lead architect at the program
- A high/mid-level fit gap of those intentions and via liaison with multiple stakeholders (current client, future corporate owners' stakeholders), revise the on-going roadmap to suit future needs
- Footprint of scope is
- Demand & Supply Planning (this will be light touch only as this is well established, well progressed and won't be hugely affected by the changes)
- Detailed Scheduling - currently intended to be delivered via a best of breed but light system
- Manufacturing Execution improvements - utilising PI Vision and various tools around manufacturing
- Detailed data capture from multiple Level 3 and Level 2 systems (eg LIMS, Manufacturing Historian, Potentially PI, others and compilation into a modern cloud-based platform)
- Potentially others
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Product Owner in supply chain or manufacturing contexts
- Strong understanding of capability roadmaps and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work with multiple systems and integrate them under a digital manufacturing initiative
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
