Summary: The SuccessFactors Technical Architect role involves overseeing the technical administration and configuration of SAP SuccessFactors modules to ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Maintain SuccessFactors instance management documentation and coordinate Instance Refreshes.
  • Implement and enforce Group policies and ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations.
  • Track system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and liaise with SAP support.
  • Set up the interface technical architecture of SuccessFactors and external systems.
  • Leverage Azure DataHub or integration platforms for seamless data flow.
  • Contribute and maintain Technical Architecture Document (TAD) and integration mappings.
  • Participate in design workshops and supervise build activities for integration projects.
  • Ensure unit testing is done and participate in integration testing with third-party applications.
  • Contribute to post-go live support and monitor interfaces for issues.

Role Title: SuccessFactors Technical Architect
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of Year Initially with Extension Possible

Rate: £529p/d max via Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management: Oversee the technical administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors modules, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with business needs.
  • Instance Management: Maintain SuccessFactors instance management documentation, implement best practices for instance reliability and uptime, coordinate Instance Refreshes and ensure communication to stakeholders
  • Compliance & Security: Implement and enforce Group policies, standards, and methodologies, ensure compliance with security, infrastructure and data protection regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Track system performance and optimize configurations for efficiency, troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with SAP support when necessary.
  • Setting-up the interface technical architecture of SuccessFactors and external systems, including payroll, finance, and third-party applications.
  • DataHub & API Management: Leverage Azure DataHub or integration platforms like SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or other middleware solutions to facilitate seamless data flow.
  • Deliverables: Contribute and maintain Technical Architecture Document (TAD), technical specifications, integration mappings, and best practice recommendations.
  • Integration design and build: actively participate in the design workshops and involve the right stakeholders, supervise the build activities and ensure the delivery of the interfaces on time, in budget and in quality.
  • Interfaces testing: ensure unit testing is done by the integrators and participate to the integration testing with third party applications owners
  • Move to production and maintenance: contribute to the support post-go live / hypercare of interfaces and ensure secure the run of the interfaces by monitoring and troubleshooting issues with the right stakeholders
