Summary: A Subsea Structure and Tie-in Engineer is needed for a fully work-from-home position, outside of IR35 status, to support offshore deepwater projects globally. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete large EPCI contracts for Offshore Projects for subsea structure and tie-in systems across all project phases.
  • Ensure design compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and engineering best practices while minimizing costs and risks.
  • Prepare technical documentation related to subsea structure and tie-in systems during various project phases.
  • Follow up on supplier call for tender and selection processes.
  • Review and approve FEED, Tender, and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors.
  • Act as the Company Representative for all related activities.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Subsea Structure and Tie-in Engineer throughout various project development phases.
  • Technical design experience of subsea structures such as Manifolds/PLEMs, PLETs/ILTs, PLRs, etc.

A Subsea Structure and Tie-in engineer is required for a fully WFH outside of IR35 status - to support our client's worldwide offshore deepwater projects.

12 months + work

They will support all the engineering activities related to subsea structure and tie-in systems in the different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for the several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives within the group.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To prepare and complete large EPCI contracts for Offshore Projects for the subsea structure and tie-in systems in all the Project phases (Feasibility & Conceptual Study, Front End Engineering Design, Call for Tender, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Testing, Installation, Commissioning).
  • To ensure that the design of subsea structure and tie-in systems meets Project requirements, applicable codes and standards, and engineering best practices while reducing project costs and risks.
  • To prepare all the technical documentation related to subsea structure and tie-in systems during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation.
  • To follow up supplier call for tender & selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.).
  • To review and approve FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors.
  • To act as the Company Representative for all

Extensive experience as a Subsea Structure and tie-in Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept development to execution) and handover to operations.

Experience in the technical design of the subsea structures such as Manifolds/PLEMs, PLETs/ILTs, PLRs etc. and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design, with knowledge of the main subsea and installation interfaces.
