Job Description
Design and analysis of concrete, steel structures, heavy load components and other equipment supports.
Conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, design calculations, specification development, and seismic analysis.
Develop 3-D analytical models utilizing FEA analysis techniques and response spectra seismic analysis.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Mathcad or Matlab.
- Finite Element Analysis software, no specific one.
We are seeking candidates for Sr Eng level who has held a previous design verification qual/cert with commercial nuclear projects under 10CFR50 Appendix B QA programs.
MathCAD Prime as well as GTSTRUDL experience is a must for Senior level engineers.
Ideally, candidates will be able to perform piping analysis per ASME B31.1 as well as structural analysis is a plus.
Need a candidate who is ready to jump into preparing and reviewing documents for pipe supports, building structure modifications, rigging load evaluations.
Steel per AISC Allowable Stress Design (known as ASD) approach (the older code years that commercial nuclear commonly uses).
