The ideal candidate will have:
- Must Have an active RCDD Certification.
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, related field, and or technical training.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- A minimum of ten years experience preparing structured cabling designs in a data center environment, with commercial infrastructure experience desirable (tenant fit-out).
- Strong background in IT service delivery role (i.e. engineering support for projects).
- Has participated in the design and/or implementation of major IT projects.
- Experience in process re-engineering efforts (ITIL, Six Sigma, MOF/MSF, etc.) is a plus.
- Conversant with relevant ISO/IEC, CENELEC, and BICSI structured cabling standards, and a working familiarity with how these standards are implemented in various regions (US, CALA, EMEA, Asia Pac).
- RCDD certification is REQUIRED and must be active.
- Working competence with modifying designs to meet customer-driven requirements and to accommodate unique installation challenges.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook.
- Familiarity with Visio is desirable.
- Management experience is desirable.
- Conversant in the English language.
- Proficiency in other languages is desirable.
Must Have:
- Looking for a RDCC Engineer. RDCC cert is a plus.
- A strong Structural Data Center Design experience RDCC cert is a huge plus!
- Ideally someone with extensive data center background.
