Strategic Technology Project Manager

Context

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Technology Project Manager to lead the definition, planning, governance and delivery of strategic technology initiatives across secure collaboration platforms, developer enablement and enterprise engineering services.

The role will act as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, architects, platform teams, security, operations, vendors and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain programme roadmaps, delivery plans and key milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Security, Workplace, Development and Platform Engineering.
  • Translate business objectives into executable technology initiatives.
  • Manage programme governance, steering committees and executive reporting.
  • Maintain RAID registers and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Manage resource planning, budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate dependencies across architecture, security, operations and engineering teams.
  • Manage vendors, procurement activities and external delivery partners.
  • Ensure delivery meets security, compliance, quality, cost and timeline requirements.
  • Drive implementation, transition, operational readiness and adoption activities.

Required Experience & Profile

  • Strong experience managing complex enterprise technology programmes.
  • Experience working across Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Workplace, Development or Platform Engineering environments.
  • Good understanding of technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, GitHub/Azure DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud platforms, IAM and security tooling.
  • Experience in security-sensitive, compliance-driven or regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle, Agile, DevOps and platform engineering concepts.
  • Strong programme governance, budget, risk and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience coordinating technical teams, vendors and delivery partners.
  • Technically credible and comfortable engaging with architects, security specialists and engineering teams; hands-on engineering expertise is not required.
