Storage Engineer

Summary: The Storage Engineer role is a full-time, remote position focused on managing and supporting storage solutions, particularly within VMware environments. The position requires expertise in migration, NAS/SAN support, and familiarity with container technologies. The contract is for 12 months with a likelihood of renewal, and candidates should possess strong communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage FC datastores on VMware, preferably with Dell Unity experience.
• Support container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Perform NFS conversion from FC.
• Assist with OpenShift and DII operations.
• Utilize ONTAP Core for storage management.
• Document processes and communicate effectively with team members.
• Engage in limited travel as required.

Key Skills:

• VMware expertise.
• Experience with migration processes.
• Knowledge of NAS/SAN support.
• Container experience (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with NFS conversion.
