Summary: The role of VMWare SME involves providing expert-level support in Storage Administration, focusing on the design, planning, and implementation of enterprise-scale storage solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 level support for EMC VMAX, EMC PowerMax, Pure Storage, Brocade, and Cisco SAN Switches.
• Design, plan, and implement storage solutions at an enterprise scale.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Handle and troubleshoot storage products including Dell VMAX-3, PMAX, Pure, and HP.
• Implement Time Finder Snap/Clone and remote replication using SRDF/S, A & AR.
• Work on storage migration projects and utilize data migration tools.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco and Brocade switches.
• Perform migrations between multiple switch products.
• Support automation initiatives using scripting tools like Python.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem management skills.

Key Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in Storage Administration.
• Experience with enterprise-scale storage solutions.
• Understanding of data center architecture and automation technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SRDF replications, snapshots, and migration tools.
• Experience in a finance background with strong change management practices.
• Knowledge of DCNM, VSAN's, ISL, NPIV, and SAN NAV.
• Experience with Broadcom/Brocade Director Class switches.
• Familiarity with Cisco SAN fabrics and Dell storage.
• Analytical and problem management skills.
