Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shared ownership resales, staircasing transactions, and complex cases across the L&GAH Portfolio.
- Serve as primary contact for leasehold enquiries from customers and managing agents.
- Ensure compliance with Homes England/GLA guidance, Capital Funding Guide, and Health & Safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records and data integrity in Salesforce CRM, providing regular updates to the Head of Leasehold.
- Prepare and issue memorandums of sale, lease consents, and other documentation.
- Liaise with solicitors, valuers, internal stakeholders, and managing agents to progress transactions efficiently.
Key Skills:
- At least 2 years' experience in shared ownership resales, staircasing, or similar transactions.
- Knowledge of shared ownership, preferably from an estate agency, conveyancing, or housing association background.
- Understanding of resale restrictions and compliance requirements under Homes England/GLA guidance.
- Excellent empathy, telephone manner, and written communication skills with a customer-service focus.
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions independently in a remote role.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate shared ownership resales, staircasing transactions, and complex cases (e.g., hardship, buy-backs, lease variations) across the Legal & General Affordable Homes (L&GAH) Portfolio.
- Serve as primary contact for leasehold enquiries from customers and managing agents, promoting L&GAH customer values and consistent service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with Homes England/GLA guidance, Capital Funding Guide, L&G Equality and Diversity, and Health & Safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records, transaction logs, and data integrity in Salesforce CRM, with timely updates and regular reporting to the Head of Leasehold on progress, risks, and blockers.
- Prepare and issue memorandums of sale, lease consents, and other documentation as required.
- Liaise with solicitors, valuers, internal stakeholders, and managing agents to progress transactions efficiently and identify process improvements.
What You Bring
- At least 2 years' experience/ knowledge of shared ownership resales, staircasing, transfers of equity, or similar transactions
- Knowledge of shared ownership, perhaps gained within an estate agency, conveyancing or housing association background
- Understanding of the importance of resale restrictions, parameters, and compliance requirements under Homes England/GLA guidance and Capital Funding Guide
- Excellent empathy, telephone manner, and written email communication skills, with a customer-service focus for handling challenging conversations (e.g., affordability issues, service dissatisfaction)
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fully remote, auditable role, managing high-volume transactions independently with minimal supervision
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure full compliance, data accuracy, and process integrity in fast-paced environments
