SRE/Observability & Automation Engineer, £525 per day inside IR35
3 months initially, Remote Working
Bench IT require a number of experienced SRE/Observability & Automation Engineers to to stand up, tune, and automate modern observability pipelines for high-performance AI clusters. This role will be working remotely and the successful engineers should have the skills included below;
- Proven experience working in a SRE/Observability role
- Observability Stack: Hands-on experience with Grafana, Loki, Mimir, and VictoriaMetrics.
- API & Workflow Automation: Strong Scripting (Python or Go) to build automated workflows between monitoring alerts, ITSM systems (HaloITSM), and external hardware vendor portals.
- GitOps: Managing configurations and deployments via Git/CI/CD pipelines.
- Mindset: Proactive incident automation eg, detecting hardware/network degradation and automatically raising tickets and dispatching field hands.
