Job Description: Key tasks performed:
- Coordination of migration work with project team
- Actioning tasks to setup large volumes of VMs for migrations
- Investigate problems and errors with VM migrations
- Work through issues both with team members and vendors through to completion
- A small amount of weekend work is anticipated
Skills:
- Technical background including good experience with virtualization environments and core network concepts
- Strong technical knowledge and experience on the following VMWare products: ESXi, vSphere, vSAN
- Good technical knowledge and experience with the following products: HCX, vRA/vAA, Ansible, YAML
- Experience in an Operational role resolving VMWare based technical problems
- Technical experience in large scale VM migration projects
- Comfortable dealing with both technical and non-technical team members
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to deal with large volumes of tasks
- High attention to detail is needed
