The UX Designer will be responsible for creating a positive and productive end user experience for TEA applications and websites and for maintaining a user-centric focus throughout product development.
TEA is seeking a senior UX Designer to help create solutions that improve education technology integration and enable parents, teachers, schools, and district leaders to focus on what is most important -- their students. The UX Designer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of technology solutions by maintaining a strong user- centric focus and driving alignment with existing work in the field. They will work under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and use strong independent judgment.
UX Designers at TEA are responsible for:
+ OverseeeingUX/UI designs to ensure design decisions are grounded in user experience and adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry-wide best practices
+ Translating research into user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes and collaborating on the future product roadmap
+ Employing user testing and outreach to ensure products meets the needs of the end users, in collaboration with partners
+ Partnering with the product team and other key stakeholders, including senior leadership, on design solutions and rationales; collaborating with internal and external teams of product designers, developers, and product managers
