Summary: The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead high-visibility projects within the privileged access management and automated desktop software delivery sectors, focusing on the implementation of a new SOD Compliance Tool. This role requires managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating strategic goals into actionable plans. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for navigating complex project landscapes and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project sponsors, business leaders, and technical teams.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide clear and consistent project updates, including executive-level reporting.
- Partner with architects, engineers, and product managers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with standards.
- Understand and communicate technical dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
- Guide teams through technical decision-making while balancing business priorities.
- Assist with the development and/or review of deliverables such as test plans, communications, end-user documentation, knowledge articles, etc.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Develop contingency plans and escalate critical blockers as needed.
- Champion project management best practices, tools, and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Ensure projects adhere to compliance, security, and quality standards.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of experience in project management with at least 4 years managing technical cybersecurity or IT-related projects.
- Background in SOD Compliance tools deployment.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies.
- High proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, MS Project).
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and integration projects (preferred).
- Basic understanding of AI technologies including machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and agentic systems (preferred).
- Proficiency in using enterprise-approved AI tools and platforms (e.g., Co-Pilot, GitHub, Claude, Windsurf) (preferred).
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (preferred).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (preferred).
- Experience and comfortable acting as a scrum master (preferred).
