Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform the analysis, design, and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code to support complex IT solutions.
• Provide strong technical expertise and collaborate with IT specialists to develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Conduct discovery and fact-finding to understand complex business problems and execute assignments independently.
• Evaluate options and make buy vs. build recommendations to management.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to development and production issues, communicating effectively with the project team and vendors.
• Research technology trends and IT best practices for continuous learning and application to the business.
• Provide direction and assistance to less experienced team members.
• Incorporate UX/UI wireframe design and requirements into front-end applications.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in a related field, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with SMART on FHIR app development, React.js, Node.js, CSS, DHTML, HTML5, Bootstrap, RESTful API, OAuth 2.0, OpenShift, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Experience with healthcare clinical data exchange via APIs and Epic FHIR API and SMART applications is a bonus.
