Summary: The role of ServiceNow Developer involves developing and managing ServiceNow applications and workflows, with a focus on scripting, platform administration, and integration. Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript and Glide API.
- Building custom applications, workflows, and UI policies.
- Managing users/roles, instance upgrades, and configuring modules like CMDB, Incident, Change, etc.
- Familiarity with APIs and data exchange between systems.
- Automating processes using Flow Designer & Studio.
- Designing user-friendly and scalable service catalogs.
- Creating dashboards and meaningful insights through performance analytics and reporting.
- Collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.
- Continuously learning and adapting to the evolving ServiceNow platform.
- Understanding the impact of platforms on broader business processes.
Key Skills:
- 4-6 years of experience in JavaScript.
- 4-6 years of experience in process flow analysis.
- 4-6 years of experience with Esri JavaScript API.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Application Developer (bonus).
