Summary: Novacoast Staffing is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer/BlueCoat Proxy Engineer for a remote, 7-month project role. The position involves assisting an enterprise customer with upgrading BlueCoat S410 Series Proxy appliances and ensuring optimal network security and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT security and networking, particularly with proxy server technologies. Certifications in BlueCoat are highly desirable.

In this role, you will be assisting our Enterprise-sized customer in the full upgrade of its BlueCoat S410 Series Proxy appliances. Additionally, you will ensure setup for proper monitoring and optimization in maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable network infrastructure through your expertise in proxy server technologies, configuration fine-tuning/ troubleshooting, and network security practices.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years' experience with IT security, networking, and enterprise technologies
- Recent hands-on experience designing, upgrading, and troubleshooting the BlueCoat Proxy S410 Series required.
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing consultancy role is a huge plus
