For this contractor assignment, the Applications Development Performance Engineering Team within the Enterprise Development Capabilities & Services (EDCS) organization has an exciting opportunity for a System Test Engineer Senior.
This team provides application performance testing/engineering support to the overall Application Development Platform within our IT department.
In this role resources work with a variety of application development teams ensuring their applications' performance is thoroughly tested and meets the enterprise performance standards.

responsibilities
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Creating performance test plans
Creating / writing performance test scripts
Executing performance tests, and analyzing and delivering results
Working with project teams to understand performance results, and making recommendations of how to improve application performance
qualifications
Minimum of 7 years related work experience designing, programming and supporting software programs and applications.
{OR} Completion of a technical training program and a minimum 4 years related work experience designing, programming and supporting software programs and applications.
{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or related field of study (e.g. Engineering, Math, Science) and a minimum 4 years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
