Summary: The Sr. Scrum Master/Team Coach is a servant leader responsible for guiding Agile teams and supporting the Agile Release Train (ART) in delivering value. This role involves coaching teams on Agile principles, facilitating collaboration, and fostering high-performance environments. The position requires quarterly travel to DE/PA/DC for PI Planning Events and emphasizes the importance of effective communication and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies and relevant certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an effective Scrum Master/Team Coach
- Support the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise by coaching stakeholders and non-agile teams
- Participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs) and support SAFe Practice Consultants (SPC)
- Model Lean-Agile leadership mindset, values, and principles
- Help the team acquire T-shaped skills
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration for whole product solutions
- Represent the team in all ART events and attend other team events as necessary
- Build trust between team and stakeholders for improved alignment and forecasting
- Coach the IP Iteration to foster time for innovation and education
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5+ years as a Scrum Master/Team Coach in large enterprise
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience/schooling
- Expert in Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, AgilityInsights
- SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification (Required)
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- SAFe SASM 6.0, SAFe SPC 6.0, SAFe SA 6.0, SAFe RTE 6.0, CSM, SAFe Studio
- Experience with ICAgile (preferred)

The Sr. SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach (SM/TC) is a servant leader and coach for an Agile
Team and supports the team and ART in delivering value. They help mature the Agile Team
through Agile values, principles, and success patterns. They facilitate impediment removal
and foster an environment for high-performing teams.

- Serve the team and the larger organization supporting the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise by coaching stakeholders and non-agile teams on effective interactions with Agile Teams
- Participate in CoPs, and support SAFe Practice Consultants (SPC)
- Serve as Lean-Agile Leader modeling the mindset, values, and principles for others
- Help the team acquire T-shaped skills
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to bring whole product solutions to market
- Represent the team in all ART events and attend other team s events as necessary
- Build trust between team and stakeholders for improved alignment and reliable, predictable forecasting
- Coach the IP Iteration to ensure the team does not schedule any work for the IP Iteration and foster time for innovation, continuing education, PI planning, and the Inspect and Adapt (I&A) events
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5+ years as a Scrum Master/Team Coach in large enterprise
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience/schooling
- Expert in Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, AgilityInsights
- SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification (Required)
- Must have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
